May is always a busy busy month for us! Bubba's birthday is on the 9th, then there is Mother's Day, and of course our anniversary is on the 22nd. This year was our 5th wedding anniversary so Bubba and I decided to celebrate that occasion with a little weekend gettaway. We rented a small beach house out in Punalu'u that was literally ON the beach and the kids were stoked to stay with Grandma and Grandpa for two days. We had a WONDERFUL time out in the country (i dislike Waikiki) just swimming and playing at the beach right out in the back yard. We drove around the North Shore, stopping to buy some coconut and li hing pineapple to snack on. We snorkeled, ate Ted's Bakery pies, ate at Haleiwa Joes and just had a blast together. I am so blessed to have Bubba as my husband and best friend. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and we are even more in love then ever! ack, okay, getting mushy....but one more just for kicks: He COMPLETES meeeeeeee! lol
